Three Red Wings players are listed among EA Sports’ NHL 14’s top 50 players

Pro Hockey Talk's James O'Brien took a look at NHL.com's pictorial-form list of EA Sports' NHL 2014 player rankings, and I'm happy to say that O'Brien found a familiar face near the top of the heap:

NHL.com kindly shared the top 50 player ratings for EA Sports’ upcoming NHL 14 title on Friday, so that naturally opens the door for outrage and excitement.

Obviously, the first few guys represent familiar faces, with Sidney Crosby and Pavel Datsyuk tied for the highest (active) player ratings at 95 each. Here’s a screenshot of each players ratings, so you can dispute someone’s speed or hand-eye coordination in the comments:

Here's Datsyuk (click to "embiggen"), listed 2nd behind Crosby...

Here's Herik Zetterberg, listed 14th...

And here's Niklas Kronwall, listed 32nd:

About The Malik Report

The Malik Report is a destination for all things Red Wings-related. I offer biased, perhaps unprofessional-at-times and verbose coverage of my favorite team, their prospects and developmental affiliates. I've joined the Kukla's Korner family with five years of blogging under my belt, and I hope you'll find almost everything you need to follow your Red Wings at a place where all opinions are created equal and we're all friends, talking about hockey and the team we love to follow.
