This Is Not A Jinx - Wings Could Be Much Healthier On Thursday

from Ansar Khan of Mlive,

The Detroit Red Wings will get some sun and get in a couple of practices during a stopover in Phoenix the next two days, before Thursday's game at San Jose.

By then, they hope to get a few bodies back.

Pavel Datsyuk, Darren Helm, Danny DeKeyser and Jonas Gustavsson are day-to-day; some or all of them could return against the Sharks. The trip concludes with games at Los Angeles and Anaheim Saturday and Sunday.

“After Tuesday’s practice, I’ll hone in to see if we need to call someone up or send someone down,” general manager Ken Holland said on Sunday.

Datsyuk has an undisclosed lower-body injury (not a groin, Holland said).

About The Malik Report

The Malik Report is a destination for all things Red Wings-related. I offer biased, perhaps unprofessional-at-times and verbose coverage of my favorite team, their prospects and developmental affiliates. I've joined the Kukla's Korner family with five years of blogging under my belt, and I hope you'll find almost everything you need to follow your Red Wings at a place where all opinions are created equal and we're all friends, talking about hockey and the team we love to follow.
