Red Wings forward Pavel Datsyuk may or may not play in tomorrow night's game between the Wings and Minnesota Wild as he's nursing a bruised shoulder, but the Detroit News's Gregg Krupa reports that Datsyuk's dry sense of humor was intact and healthy as he attempted to evade questions about his injury during post-practice scrum:
"My shoulder? It's good always," he said. "Why you ask?"
Asked if it is a bruise, Datsyuk smiled a crooked smile and said, "No, it's fine. Much better."
"It's like 50-50, now," he said, with a sigh, about his prospects for playing the Wild.
How did he hurt it?
"Celebrating. It was a big celebration; too much, celebrated," said Datsyuk, warming to the task of having fun with the queries.
Was it the hit Drew Doughty put on him last Sunday, as he broke in alone for what looked like a great scoring chance?
"No. It's my celebrating," Datsyuk said. "I'm not used to celebrating. This time, I pull (something).
But, he thinks might play?
"I hope so. Now, it's at least 55-45; no longer 50-50."
When asked if he meant 55 percent yes, Datsyuk said. "Yes. But now it's 56 percent, yes! Every minute it's better."

If he had a perfect english, he might have been the poster boy for the league for a long while, I think
