So PHX is only 2 hours behind the east right? Why must they start at 10:30??? A-holes.

Don’t knock it. (in THIS scenario).. More rest for our boys. Besides, gives a couple more hours for the stale funk of the Hasek to air out.

Game 1: class. Game 2: good. Game 3: GF’s birthday, 1130pm start. Game 4: late start. Game 5: good.
And I say we don’t need more than that.

Not absolutely sure about but isn’t Arizona one of those “we don’t need no stinkin’ daylight savings time” states so they are three hours different from Eastern time?

No exclusives on Versus for first round. Fox Sports Detroit will have all games except Saturday and Sunday on NBC.

Correct. Arizona is on Mountain Standard Time, 3 hours behind Detroit time.

Correct, they are 3 hrs behind Eastern time. What I don’t get is why the 2 days off between Games 1 and 2 in Detroit, yet only 1 day off when they travel back and forth. And also, why 7pm local starts in Detroit, but 730 local starts in Phoenix, when that means 1030 instead of 10 in Detroit. A half hour earlier would help.

I’m guessing arena availability.

Jerks. Even 10pm would be better than 10:30.

According to TicketMaster, there is nothing scheduled at JLA between now and October 15th. This series should have started on Thursday and had the 2 day break between games 2 and 3.

CBC obviously wanted it on Wed. and wanted it at 7 p.m. It’s not their fault all the eastern Canadian teams (and most of the western) suck. Fortunately, we have an alternative to FSD and Vs. Plus don’t have to wait for the 5-second delay.

So if FSD is covering the game as well as VS in this round, will I be able to watch Ken and Mickey with my Center Ice package?

About The Malik Report
The Malik Report is a destination for all things Red Wings-related. I offer biased, perhaps unprofessional-at-times and verbose coverage of my favorite team, their prospects and developmental affiliates. I've joined the Kukla's Korner family with five years of blogging under my belt, and I hope you'll find almost everything you need to follow your Red Wings at a place where all opinions are created equal and we're all friends, talking about hockey and the team we love to follow.
I really hope Yahoo streams some games so I can watch Ken and Mickey a few more times this season. It’s not fun having to rely on versus or NBC for wings games.
