Red Wings prospect Luke Glendening reflects on rookie campaign, Olympic break in Fox 17 interview

Red Wings prospect Luke Glendening is in Grand Rapids, and it was assumed that Glendening could at least practice with the Grand Rapids Griffins until he's allowed to play for the Griffins after the Olympic break, but that's not the case:

Glendening playing over 75% of the Wings' pre-Olympic games = he and every other Wing can't skate with NHL or AHL peers until February 19th; Stephen Weiss is skating with the Whalers because his surgery yielded missed time.

As such, he's simply resting up in Grand Rapids, and he spoke with Fox 17's Steve Amorose about his rookie NHL campaign and his currently-forced rest--as well as his status as a budding pest/instigator:

(He's playing XBox games with Trevor Parkes, Mitchell Callahan and Ryan Sproul, too)

About The Malik Report

The Malik Report is a destination for all things Red Wings-related. I offer biased, perhaps unprofessional-at-times and verbose coverage of my favorite team, their prospects and developmental affiliates. I've joined the Kukla's Korner family with five years of blogging under my belt, and I hope you'll find almost everything you need to follow your Red Wings at a place where all opinions are created equal and we're all friends, talking about hockey and the team we love to follow.
