Let Jimmy work with Bedard some more. He needs it. His positioning last night seemed kind of whacky, and both the second goal and shootout winners were ugly. Let’s see Mrazek, our future #1!!!!!

Outside of the shootout, I still can’t understand how anyone is blaming what happened in the 3rd period on Howie.  The second goal was the result of Q and Smith letting Bjugstad walk right out in front of the net without any more than waving a stick at him.

The entire team quit moving in the 3rd, which allowed FL to dominate offensive zone possession.  Even with that, Jimmy made several saves right on the doorstep just to get them to overtime.

I agree
Not that he has been playing spetacular lately, but he hasnt had the same help from the D as Gustavsson has

About The Malik Report

The Malik Report is a destination for all things Red Wings-related. I offer biased, perhaps unprofessional-at-times and verbose coverage of my favorite team, their prospects and developmental affiliates. I've joined the Kukla's Korner family with five years of blogging under my belt, and I hope you'll find almost everything you need to follow your Red Wings at a place where all opinions are created equal and we're all friends, talking about hockey and the team we love to follow.
