Updated 2x at 9:30 PM: First, congrats to Alan Quine at getting a second chance...
And then, welcome to the Red Wings..
6'6," 185-pound defenseman from the Prince George Cougars, 52 games played, 15 points, 70 PIM.
From the Macomb Daily's Chuck Pleiness:
The Wings took a second straight defenseman in the draft, nabbing Marc McNulty in the sixth round with the 169th overall pick.
McNulty plays for Prince George of the WHL.
His ranking by NHL Central Scouting dropped from 84th at the mid-term to 105.
He shoots right and is 6-6, 185 pounds.
McNulty had eight goals and seven assits in 52 games last season.
Update #1: McNulty per RedWingsCentral:
6-139. D Mark McNulty, 6-6, 185, Prince George (WHL), 52-8-7-15-70. Another giant-sized blueliner, McNulty had more goals than assists this season in a strange statistical line for a defenseman. Mobile for his size, McNulty is willing to fight and is capable with the puck but his development will require patience. A raw project.

About The Malik Report
The Malik Report is a destination for all things Red Wings-related. I offer biased, perhaps unprofessional-at-times and verbose coverage of my favorite team, their prospects and developmental affiliates. I've joined the Kukla's Korner family with five years of blogging under my belt, and I hope you'll find almost everything you need to follow your Red Wings at a place where all opinions are created equal and we're all friends, talking about hockey and the team we love to follow.
