The Malik Report

The Detroit Red Wings will be dressing the vast majority of their NHL roster when they host the Toronto Maple Leafs this evening (7:30 PM EDT), but unless you happen to live in Ontario and subscribe to Leafs TV, you won't be able to see the game...Legally.
Fox Sports Detroit isn't airing the game against the Tigers-Marlins tilt, and Ken Kal and Paul Woods' call of the game can only be heard over-the-air as WXYT 1270's audio stream does not broadcast Wings games in the preseason.
Tomorrow's game in Toronto (7 PM EDT)--which will likely ice the Wings' "B Team" against the Leafs' NHL roster--will air on Hockey Night in Canada and the NHL Network U.S., but I also know that those of you who won't be watching the Grand Rapids Griffins play the Lake Erie Monsters at Compuware Arena in Plymouth, or won't be attending the Hockeytown BrewHaHa don't all have access to the CBC or the NHL Network U.S. (I can access the former but not the latter)...
So tonight and tomorrow, I'm encouraging those of you who want to watch tonight's tilt (the game summary, event summary and roster report are already up) or tomorrow's affair to share your means by which you plan on viewing the game...By any quasi-legal or illegal means necessary.
I sure as hell don't want to not be able to see tonight's game because I'm neither at the Joe nor in a part of Oakland County that receives 1270 AM once the sun sets (they have to reduce their wattage, seriously), so I'm going to be checking First Row Sports, Justin.tv and even LiveTV.ru to find a way to watch tonight's game.
I did post some legitimate media in the game-day thread, including Chris Osgood speaking with the Fan 590's Greg Brady this morning...
And Ken Holland speaking with TSN 1050's David Naylor yesterday evening...
But the rest of this thread falls into the, "Whatever works, we're going to pretend that it's legal" realm, and both I and many Wings fans could use your help in trying to watch a tilt that the broadcasters in charge regrettably decided wouldn't be profitable on a Friday night's worth of high school football and major league baseball in late September.

About The Malik Report
The Malik Report is a destination for all things Red Wings-related. I offer biased, perhaps unprofessional-at-times and verbose coverage of my favorite team, their prospects and developmental affiliates. I've joined the Kukla's Korner family with five years of blogging under my belt, and I hope you'll find almost everything you need to follow your Red Wings at a place where all opinions are created equal and we're all friends, talking about hockey and the team we love to follow.
