...I don’t know about this line. Can’t remember, has this been tried before? Most likely so.

It just seems Bert will be too slow for those two.

Stephan Weiss-Justtin Abdelkaer-Johan Franzen

...I like this possible combo. But, as always, it depends on if this is one of the eight games each year the Mule decides he will try in.

The problem with Bert on a line with Datsuyk and Zetterberg is that he will spend most of the game at the exercise bar warming for for Swan Lake.  He only plays hard about every 4th game.

If they’re just going to sit Tatar- trade him. Clear the room to call up Nyquist. They’re having problems scoring and they can’t find a way to fit Gus in? Pucks to that!

About The Malik Report

The Malik Report is a destination for all things Red Wings-related. I offer biased, perhaps unprofessional-at-times and verbose coverage of my favorite team, their prospects and developmental affiliates. I've joined the Kukla's Korner family with five years of blogging under my belt, and I hope you'll find almost everything you need to follow your Red Wings at a place where all opinions are created equal and we're all friends, talking about hockey and the team we love to follow.
