Red Wings delay start of Tuesday’s Blue Jackets game to 8 PM to accommodate Tigers-Red Sox tilt

The National Hockey League and the Detroit Red Wings announced today that Detroit’s home game on Tuesday, October 15, vs. the Columbus Blue Jackets, originally scheduled for 7:30 p.m., has been changed to an 8:00 p.m. start.

Of schedule-quirk-y note preceding this game: tonight, the Phoenix Coyotes battle the Wings' Saturday night opponent in the Philadelphia Flyers, and on Saturday, the Blue Jackets will battle Monday's opponent, the Boston Bruins.
