Red Wings captain Henrik Zetterberg speaks with WJR’s Mitch Albom

Henrik Zetterberg appeared on WJR's Mitch Albom show on Tuesday night, discussing the Henrik Zetterberg Foundation (which raised $8,800 for Detroit schools), the establishment of a charitable initiative called "Club 40" (and its partnership with Albom's charity, SAY Detroit), his recovery from back surgery and the Wings' short playoff run. Zetterberg spoke with Albom for 19 minutes, and he was very glib and comfortable (the cliche machine was dialed back significantly). Enjoy:

About The Malik Report

The Malik Report is a destination for all things Red Wings-related. I offer biased, perhaps unprofessional-at-times and verbose coverage of my favorite team, their prospects and developmental affiliates. I've joined the Kukla's Korner family with five years of blogging under my belt, and I hope you'll find almost everything you need to follow your Red Wings at a place where all opinions are created equal and we're all friends, talking about hockey and the team we love to follow.
