The Malik Report

from Brendan Savage of Mlive,

The last time we checked the NHL Power Rankings, the Detroit Red Wings were sinking fast.

Today, they're on the verge of being fully submerged.

The Red Wings have dropped to No. 27 for the second time this season and two media outlets - CSN Mid-Atlantic and The Hockey News - have them one spot from the bottom.

Keep in mind The Hockey News is the same publication that had the Red Wings ranked No. 11 just a few weeks ago.

About The Malik Report

The Malik Report is a destination for all things Red Wings-related. I offer biased, perhaps unprofessional-at-times and verbose coverage of my favorite team, their prospects and developmental affiliates. I've joined the Kukla's Korner family with five years of blogging under my belt, and I hope you'll find almost everything you need to follow your Red Wings at a place where all opinions are created equal and we're all friends, talking about hockey and the team we love to follow.
