Update: In the OHL, defenseman Reilly Webb was traded from the Hamilton Bullogs to the Saginaw Spirit. Per the Spirit's website:

SAGINAW, Mich. – Saginaw Spirit General Manager Dave Drinkill announced Wednesday a trade between the Saginaw Spirit and the Hamilton Bulldogs that will bring Defenseman Reilly Webb to the Spirit in exchange for Kitchener’s 2nd round pick in 2018, Saginaw’s 5th round pick in 2020, and a conditional 3rd round pick in 2023 that belonged to the Saginaw Spirit. The condition is that Webb plays his overage season for the Saginaw Spirit.

“We are thrilled to welcome Reilly Webb to the Saginaw Spirit Hockey Club,” said Drinkill. “Reilly is a tough, stay-at-home Defenseman that will add stability and depth to our back end. We are hoping we can insert him into our lineup Wednesday night in the Soo.”

Webb, 18, is a native of Stoney Creek, Ontario and was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the 6th round (164th overall) of the 2017 NHL Draft held in Chicago, Illinois. Webb is originally a 2nd round pick (33rd overall) of the Hamilton Bulldogs in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection Draft.

Webb took part in the 2017 Detroit Red Wings Prospect Camp and the NHL Prospect Tournament at Centre Ice Arena in Traverse City, Michigan. The 6’3, 201-pound rearguard has appeared in 56 OHL games, scoring one goal and one assist with 40 penalty minutes.

Webb is familiar with the Saginaw Spirit coaching staff having played for Assistant Coach Ryan Kuwabara with the Ancaster Avalanche Jr. B during the 2015-16 season and also for Troy Smith when he was an Associate Coach of the Hamilton Bulldogs during the 2016-17 season.

Has Kadeikin ever set foot on North America? I don’t recall seeing him in any prospect camps.
