Datsyuk is on the cover of my 13 game. He was also on the cover of my 11 game. Hank was on 12.

That illustration of Pavel is one of the worst images I’ve ever seen of him. At his most serious and most intense, he has never looked like that. Pavel is a bad ass because he’s a great player, not because he goes around with a fake-looking “snarl” on his face.

Heh.  Maybe their rendering of $0.20 has him skating around with a beer can in his hand instead of a stick, beating up old just-trying-to-make-a-decent-living taxi cab drivers, and finding college coeds in the stands and choking her instead of playing the game.

NCAA = Denard/Michigan
Madden NFL = Barry/Lions
NHL = Datsyuk/Red Wings?

If Pavel wins, we could have an all Detroit EA Sports covers.

About The Malik Report

The Malik Report is a destination for all things Red Wings-related. I offer biased, perhaps unprofessional-at-times and verbose coverage of my favorite team, their prospects and developmental affiliates. I've joined the Kukla's Korner family with five years of blogging under my belt, and I hope you'll find almost everything you need to follow your Red Wings at a place where all opinions are created equal and we're all friends, talking about hockey and the team we love to follow.
