from Bob Duff of the Windsor Star,
“It’s really up to the guys in the locker-room at the end of last year. Most guys are back and everyone’s got to be better. That’s the only way this team’s going to advance.”
At Joe Louis Arena Monday working as an instructor at the club’s youth hockey camp, Glendening was equally harsh in the scouting report on his own season, which saw him produce 1-6-7 numbers in 56 games working as a fourth-line checking centre for Detroit.
“I have a long way to go,” Glendening said. “I wasn’t really that happy with my season. I got to play a lot, but my production wasn’t good enough.
I wasn’t good enough on faceoffs (48.5 per cent). There are things that I have to improve upon to stay and be a regular in the lineup.”

About The Malik Report
The Malik Report is a destination for all things Red Wings-related. I offer biased, perhaps unprofessional-at-times and verbose coverage of my favorite team, their prospects and developmental affiliates. I've joined the Kukla's Korner family with five years of blogging under my belt, and I hope you'll find almost everything you need to follow your Red Wings at a place where all opinions are created equal and we're all friends, talking about hockey and the team we love to follow.
