Leafs take the social media high ground en route to Winter Classic?

With all the hubbub surrounding the lead-up to the Winter Classic, live Michigan Stadium webcam included...

I hate to suggest that the Maple Leafs are doing anything "better" than the Red Wings, scale and intensity of the coverage in Canada's largest city excluded (and I'd rather have the Detroit media environment any day of the week), but the Leafs do have the Social Media high ground, as it were.

The Maple Leafs are organizing their fans under the Twitter hashtag "#SEAofBLUE," and they're encouraging fans to submit Leaf-fan oriented stuff via Twitter, Facebook, you name it, while offering various prizes and even tickets to the Winter Classic itself, and RedWingsFeed pointed me in the direction of a pair of Maple Leafs blog posts encouraging Leaf fans to particpate in the phenomenon:
