Me again for George who should be back either later tonight or tomorrow.
Per Ted Kulfan tweets, Quincey is out 4-6 weeks with mulitple fractures, no decision on surgery.
And if you missed the news on Helm at Abel To Yzerman, well he was at a very optional skate but left the ice after 10 minutes.
update 4:57pm,
All the beat writers in unison tweeted something like this, Babcock says Helm suffered a setback, won't play Wednesday.

Nice, that can be our off-season FA acquisition!
We’re going to have so many new acquisitions come playoff time that it’s gonna be SICK!

Got a relative in sports medicine who says Helm should be able to make a full recovery from his back injury. Obviously the Wings are taking no chances though by not rushing him back, wisely.
Never seen so many injuries on the Wings in one season.
I blame bettman for locking out the players which forced this shortened season, killed team chemistry and eliminated the valuable preseason/training camp.
Games are still sloppy and refs are still not ready it seems even this deep into this farce of a season.
Hope the BOG are happy with themselves.

According to Khan tweets, Helm calls it minor setback and Khan also talked to Bertuzzi who says not really any improvement with his back.

Apropos of nothing: Playing ES Hockey Manager with 2012-2013 roster and date hacks. Just traded Coaliacovo + 7th rounder(San Jose’s technically) to Jets for Bogosian. ROFL.

I’m pretty sure the players and owners share in the blame for the lockout.

Players offered to play on current CBA till a deal could be struck. Bettman denied that. I’d say its not on the players.
