The Malik Report

It's somewhat ironic that MLive's Ansar Khan is reporting the following about Red Wings forward Tomas Jurco just ahead of tonight's game against Blake Comeau's Blue Jackets:
After skating by himself a few times, Tomas Jurco practiced with the team Tuesday for the first time since suffering a broken rib March 11 on a cross-check by Columbus’ Blake Comeau.
“It feels better and I think I’m really close to being ready to play,” Jurco said. “I hope for Thursday.
“It doesn’t bother me to breathe, but it’s still sore. I guess it’s just going to go away in the next few days. It’s not that bad that I can’t play so I think I’ll be good.”
He’ll be wearing a protective jacket.
Khan continues with more Datsyuk talk.

About The Malik Report
The Malik Report is a destination for all things Red Wings-related. I offer biased, perhaps unprofessional-at-times and verbose coverage of my favorite team, their prospects and developmental affiliates. I've joined the Kukla's Korner family with five years of blogging under my belt, and I hope you'll find almost everything you need to follow your Red Wings at a place where all opinions are created equal and we're all friends, talking about hockey and the team we love to follow.
