Last 5 periods lowest point in a long time.

Didn’t support each other, didnt play with structure. Too many mistakes. It’s on all of us.

Lost 5 in a row earlier this year, then went 6-2-2.

Next 10-15 critical to assess next steps. 2 games under .500. (Lol). If you play under .500 the next few games, adding onto the 2 you are already under…

Playoffs are still possible as of 2 weeks ago. After 7 losses in a row…if we continue to play like these last 7 theres no chance.

He has talked to the team before. Will do when appropriate. Right now he is not thinking about it.

Blash has done a real good job until 2 games ago.

Since the salary cap - last team to miss the playoffs. Not top 15 picks.

Mind set was to add pieces to go on a playoff run up until 2 years ago after losing to TB. Now conservative, now holding onto picks. Winnipeg is a good model to follow.

Multiple draft picks, young players, need time. Last 2 years started the rebuild. Young players dont want to stay if you’re gonna be bad for 5-6 years.

Try to be competitive. If not, trade pieces.

We don’t have superstars. Both specialty teams and goals against were good until last 2 games.

Blash had team organized. Bigger roles to young guys.

Some guys last year wanted to stay that got traded at the deadlines. He lived a rebuild starting with the wings. Finding Fedorov and Lidstrom that late doesnt happen anymore. Teams have so many scouts. Cant fast track it. Rebuilds take time and pain.

3-4-5 years hoping recent picks can make an impact. Not a spare part.

Doesnt care about his legacy. He is a competitor. Wants to come to the rink and have a chance to win but also make moves for long term.

Sorry for the 3 posts, wanted to summarize for those who don’t want to sit through the whole video. smile

At about the 10 minute mark he basically says teams missed the playoffs, got high draft picks, and drafted superstars, and now those are the teams beating us….

he look nervous. Those facial grimaces were something else…

I rarely listen to the man speak, but this time i did…and he won’t fire Blashill. He sees him as a good coach and by doing so it tells us that their is some hockey thing Kenny doesn’t fully comprehend.

This team is a mess and he sees that we sometimes play with structure wicht in book never happened so far this season.
