Man, I forgot how much he really does sound like Babcock.

Hopefully Blashill (and Larkin, DDK and Howard) can build on this with the Wings next season.

Does anyone know how the American’s power play is doing?

Ralph Krueger is a very smart, innovative, and really interesting guy. Babcock insisted that Krueger be made a member of the Team Canada staff. His knowledge of European hockey and different systems was cited as a key asset for Canada to win Gold.

I’ve heard the Sabres had approached him about their vacant job. Would love for the Wings to swoop in and get him. A co-coaching duo of Krueger and Nelson would be an upgrade on Blashill-Torchetti.
