You know, Jimmy is doing Datsyukian things ALL THE TIME, without Nic Lidstrom, Brian Rafalski, or Brad Stuart covering the Blueline- can you think of another Red Wing Goaltender who has done so much with such little support in the last 22-23 years?

not Ozzie, not Vernie, Not the Dominator. Not even Norm Maracle….Just saying.

Exactly.

Howard has been the MVP of this team the whole season.

That does not take away from the huge contributions from Hank & Pav, but without Howard “standing on his head” in goal, this season would have been a disaster.

big surprise

About The Malik Report

The Malik Report is a destination for all things Red Wings-related. I offer biased, perhaps unprofessional-at-times and verbose coverage of my favorite team, their prospects and developmental affiliates. I've joined the Kukla's Korner family with five years of blogging under my belt, and I hope you'll find almost everything you need to follow your Red Wings at a place where all opinions are created equal and we're all friends, talking about hockey and the team we love to follow.
