Griffins post a best-of-October video, announce the return of ‘Tip a Griffin’ event on November 18th

The Grand Rapids posted a must-watch video of their "Best of October" on Monday...

And they announced the return of their "Tip a Griffin" charitable event on Monday, November 18th:

The Grand Rapids Griffins usually look for tips near the net, but on Monday, Nov. 18 from 6-8 p.m., they’ll exchange their jerseys for aprons in an evening of serving appetizers, entrees and beverages to patrons at Uccello’s Ristorante, in the return of the team’s popular Tip-A-Griffin fundraiser.

Griffins players, coaches and hockey staff will visit all four Uccello’s locations in West Michigan to serve and wait tables, with donations and raffle proceeds benefiting the Griffins Youth Foundation. In its previous seven editions, Tip-A-Griffin raised nearly $70,000 for various local charities.

The Griffins will be dispersed to each location as follows (lineups subject to change):

Each of the four locations will include raffle items and a visit from the team’s mascot, Griff. Raffle items include Griffins memorabilia, ticket packages, various gifts from sponsors, and specially-designed aprons that Griffins personnel will be wearing for the night, which will be signed and auctioned off at the end of the event.

About The Malik Report

The Malik Report is a destination for all things Red Wings-related. I offer biased, perhaps unprofessional-at-times and verbose coverage of my favorite team, their prospects and developmental affiliates. I've joined the Kukla's Korner family with five years of blogging under my belt, and I hope you'll find almost everything you need to follow your Red Wings at a place where all opinions are created equal and we're all friends, talking about hockey and the team we love to follow.
