Grand Rapids Griffins to hold ‘Sled Wings’ game tonight

As an FYI, the Grand Rapids Griffins are skating in their annual "Sled Wings" game to raise funds for sledge hockey and the Griffins foundation this evening:

The Grand Rapids Press's Peter J. Wallner provides a few more details regarding tonight's event:

Before the game, from 5:15-6:15 p.m., fans can try out a sled on the ice for a minimum $1 donation and get autographs from their favorite Griffins players.

The game itself consists of two 20-minute periods with a running clock.

Tickets can be purchased at the door for $5 per person or $20 per family, while children 2 and younger are free.

All proceeds from the evening will benefit the Sled Wings program and the Griffins Youth Foundation.

About The Malik Report

The Malik Report is a destination for all things Red Wings-related. I offer biased, perhaps unprofessional-at-times and verbose coverage of my favorite team, their prospects and developmental affiliates. I've joined the Kukla's Korner family with five years of blogging under my belt, and I hope you'll find almost everything you need to follow your Red Wings at a place where all opinions are created equal and we're all friends, talking about hockey and the team we love to follow.
