Per the Grand Rapids Business Journal's David Czurak, the Grand Rapids Griffins are holding a charity golf event on Monday to benefit the Griffins' Youth Foundation, and as far as I know, the Calder Cup will be in attendance given that Luke Glendening will have his "day with the Cup" in Grand Rapids on Friday:
The Grand Rapids Griffins will hold their 19th annual Griffins Youth Foundation Golf Classic next Monday, but it’ll be the first time as AHL Calder Cup champions.
Tee time: The event, which is sponsored by Meijer, will tee off at 10 a.m. for the fifth consecutive year at the 36-hole Egypt Valley Country Club in Ada Township. Half of the golfers will play 18 on the Ridge course, while the other half will tackle the Valley course.
The event: In addition to the bunkers and sand traps, the courses will offer food and refreshments from Peppino’s Pizza, Buffalo Wild Wings and Leo’s Restaurant.
A dinner, a high-end raffle and an auction will be held in the clubhouse following play.
Griffins head coach Jeff Blashill, assistant coach Jim Paek, Griffins forward Luke Glendening and NHL veteran forward Mike Knuble are some of the celebrities who will take part in the event.
Registration and sponsors: Golfers and foursomes can still register for the classic by calling (616) 774-4585, ext. 3027.
Sponsorships are also still available at the same number.

About The Malik Report
The Malik Report is a destination for all things Red Wings-related. I offer biased, perhaps unprofessional-at-times and verbose coverage of my favorite team, their prospects and developmental affiliates. I've joined the Kukla's Korner family with five years of blogging under my belt, and I hope you'll find almost everything you need to follow your Red Wings at a place where all opinions are created equal and we're all friends, talking about hockey and the team we love to follow.
