Great stuff. Blashill’s reaction to Tatar droppin em is hilarious…not unlike, I’m sure, Babs’ reaction to Dats going with Perry.

Just me or does Blashill sound exactly like Babcock.

You’re not the first person to note that. Earlier in the year, the debate was whether they sent Bashill to GR and got Renney because they needed a good cop so to speak as a buffer for Babcock the bad cop. Having Babcock and Bashill both may have been too much of an imbalance last year for the team.

I was listening to WOOD radio GR before a playoff game and thought it was Babcock right up to the end of the interview when I found myself stunned.

About The Malik Report

The Malik Report is a destination for all things Red Wings-related. I offer biased, perhaps unprofessional-at-times and verbose coverage of my favorite team, their prospects and developmental affiliates. I've joined the Kukla's Korner family with five years of blogging under my belt, and I hope you'll find almost everything you need to follow your Red Wings at a place where all opinions are created equal and we're all friends, talking about hockey and the team we love to follow.
