GRIFFINS ANNOUNCE TRAINING CAMP SCHEDULE
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Grand Rapids Griffins on Friday announced the schedule for their 2012-13 training camp, which will begin on Monday, Oct. 1 at Van Andel Arena.
The team will report to Grand Rapids for physicals that morning before beginning on-ice sessions in the afternoon. Players will be split into White and Blue teams that will alternate on-ice and off-ice sessions, with one full-team special teams practice scheduled each day. Camp will wrap up with a scrimmage on Friday, Oct. 5 before the team departs for two preseason contests against the Lake Erie Monsters on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 6 p.m. at the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio, and Sunday, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. at Yost Ice Arena in Ann Arbor, Mich.
All practices will be conducted at Van Andel Arena and closed to the public, with the exception of a 10 a.m. morning skate at Griff’s IceHouse on Oct. 6. Media availability will be at the conclusion of each day’s events. A complete training camp roster and camp groupings will be announced at a later date, but the team’s active roster can be viewed here.

1:15-2:15 p.m. – On-Ice Practice (White Team)/Off-Ice Workout (Blue Team)
2:15-2:30 p.m. – Ice Cut/Video Session (Blue Team)
2:30-2:40 p.m. – Video Session (White Team)/On-Ice Warm-up (Blue Team)
2:40-3 p.m. – Special Teams Practice (Both Teams)
3-4 p.m. – On-Ice Practice (Blue Team)
3:15-4 p.m. – Off-Ice Workout (White Team)Tuesday, Oct. 2
