Good news from Khan regarding Red Wings forward Patrick Eaves

The injury fairy made an appearance at the Red Wings' Tuesday morning practice, but MLive's Ansar Khan reports that Patrick Eaves escaped a serious injury after taking a puck to his jaw:
"Day to day" means that the Wings may or may not recall someone from Grand Rapids after the Griffins play the Peoria Rivermen tonight.

MARQUETTE - The Detroit Red Wings have reached a tentative agreement with Northern Michigan University junior goaltender Jared Coreau, who will be in the Motor City today, according to a source within the Wildcats hockey program.
