from Ansar Khan of Mlive,
The Red Wings, with only 12 active forwards after the Jurco trade, recalled Drew Miller from the Grand Rapids Griffins. He'll join the club for practice Monday, prior to its three-game trip to Western Canada that starts Tuesday in Vancouver.
Miller had two goals and one assist in seven games with the Griffins, after being waived on Jan. 22 due to a lack of roster space. He has five goals and one assist in 35 games for Detroit.
The Red Wings also recalled goaltender Jared Coreau from his weekend conditioning stint. He went 1-1.

To be the 13th forward and watch from the pressbox, yep.

Just another example of Kenny’s loyalty to players that should have been moved and dissing the kids in GR.

I’m curious, why do people think that sitting in the Press Box on the Wings roster is better than playing in GR?

About The Malik Report
The Malik Report is a destination for all things Red Wings-related. I offer biased, perhaps unprofessional-at-times and verbose coverage of my favorite team, their prospects and developmental affiliates. I've joined the Kukla's Korner family with five years of blogging under my belt, and I hope you'll find almost everything you need to follow your Red Wings at a place where all opinions are created equal and we're all friends, talking about hockey and the team we love to follow.
