Chesnokov: Red Wings forward Pavel Datsyuk’s Yekaterinburg condo burglarized

Well this is just bizarre, via RedWingsFeed:

Sovetsky Sport's K. Ivanin reports that Datsyuk's condo was broken into on August 24th, and the damages cost 1.5 million rubles--or $45,000--and Championat links us to an ITAR-TASS report stating that Datsyuk's living room was broken into.

Hm.. his comments that made you more disappointed than you had ever been at any Red Wings Russian superstar ever before occurred two days earlier.  Coincidence?  Probably. But what if it’s not - and this is just another example of what is Putin’s Russia.

I was waaaaayyyyy more disappointed in Fedorov’s antics when he left…

And it is possible but not probable. You never know in post-Soviet Russia, but I’d imagine that a robbery is a robbery.

About The Malik Report

The Malik Report is a destination for all things Red Wings-related. I offer biased, perhaps unprofessional-at-times and verbose coverage of my favorite team, their prospects and developmental affiliates. I've joined the Kukla's Korner family with five years of blogging under my belt, and I hope you'll find almost everything you need to follow your Red Wings at a place where all opinions are created equal and we're all friends, talking about hockey and the team we love to follow.
