Too soon to make too much out of this. Could very well be simply that Kris Letang's "lower body" (read: groin) injury is worse than originally anticipated. Matt Niskanen has been skating the past couple of days, but may not be ready to return to the lineup soon.

I don’t think I’d say at this point his injury is worse. They put Letang on IR retroactively, it may just be an audition for Morrow for a few games….
There are numerous reports that Morrow needs some work on his defense, so we’ll just see….

Oh, I didn’t catch the “retroactively” part.
Still, it’s exciting to see that some of these guys are getting close to being “ready.”
