Finnish forward Janne Pesonen was recalled from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton to replace the injured Max Talbot, who took a shot off the left foot during the Pens’ 5-3 win over the islanders on Wednesday night.
There’s been no indication how severe Talbot’s injury is, nor is there been any estimate of his return.
Pesonen has 5 goals and 16 assists in 19 games for the Baby Penguins this season. He was recalled for one game to Pittsburgh earlier this season.
