Crosby out for Tonight’s Game vs. Blackhawks with Hip Flexor

Penguins’ captain Sidney Crosby will not play tonight in Chicago vs. the Blackhawks for precautionary reasons due to a hip flexor.  Dustin Jeffrey will take his place.

It’s unknown at this time whether Crosby will play in the preseason finale Sunday at Detroit.

What is it about Chicago that Crosby always seems to be injured whenever the Penguins play Blackhawks. It’s been something like four years since the last time he’s played a game against them.

Smart move to sit this one out. They have a new goon looking to make a name for himself - and the season will be starting soon.
