Around the Penguins Blogosphere

As I like to do every now and then, let’s take a look around the Pens’ blogosphere and throw a little bloggerlove out there;

My boys (they’re probably young enough to be my boys), as well as our own A2Y’s The Chief’s busom buddies at The Pensblog have an absolute stellar Penguins retrospective going back to the 2001-2002 season up until the present day, for all those fans whose glasses have gotten a little too rose-colored.  It wasn’t that long ago folks that the Pens were the laughing stock of the league.  Great job, fellas.

Seth Rorabaugh at the excellent Penguins blog Empty Netters at the Pittsburgh Post Gazette provides an interesting chart listing Crosby and Malkin’s point production via the powerplay, as compared to the other top scorers.

Jesse Marshall, Matt Bodenschatz and the boys at The Faceoff Factor continue to do a great job at all facets of the Penguins organization.  Just for yesterday’s December 1st posts, they’ve got articles on CHL News and Notes, NHL Trade Winds and Penguins among League Leaders.  Solid, solid stuff.

Sean Leahy’s Going Five Hole not only gives regular Penguins love, he’s got it for the entire NHL.  His latest articles concern the 2009 Winter Classic and one of my favorites, his weekly required reading post.

FrankD at Pensburgh has an article on how the departed Penguins from last year are doing.

HooksOrpik at The Sweater Ted wrote an artile discussing Janne Pesonen’s recent demotion back to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and what he needs to do to get back to the ‘Burgh.

Brian Metzer at Hockeybuzz.com discusses Crosby’s selection as the #1 Star of the Week.

For all things, and I mean ALL things, Sidney Crosby, you must have SnoopyJode’s The Sidney Crosby Show in your favorites.  Snoop has an article recently with several Sid-related links in there.

Speaking of “all things” sites, The Flower Shop is for all things Marc-Andre Fleury.

If you want the down-low on what’s happening with the Baby Pens at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, then your first stop must be with Jonathan Bombulie from the Wilkes-Barre Citizen Voice.
