After months of speculation, finally the truth has come out about Canes captain Rod Brind’Amour. From today’s online N&O:
Canes coach Paul Maurice said today that team captain Rod Brind’Amour was returning to Raleigh and would not play in the games in San Jose and Phoenix.
“Roddy has a nagging injury that’s not getting any better, so we’re sending him back,” Maurice said. “We want him to get some treatment the next four or five days.”
