The results are back, and better than expected for Oilers’ winger Jordan Eberle. Eberle who is the team points leader. Eberle is expected to miss 2-3 weeks in what is being referred to as a sprained knee.
“It’s never a good time for an injury, but I’m going to focus on getting healthy and getting back to the lineup as soon as I can.” Eberle told the Oilers. While the team has made several improvements over last year, wins have still been hard to come by and will only be more difficult without Eberle.
Eberle injured his knee in an innocent enough looking hit with Dallas Stars’ left winger Jamie Benn on Saturday afternoon:

About Oil Patch
Lisa McRitchie is a fairly new writer, online at least, but makes up for inexperience with passion for the game of hockey and memories of Mrs. Leskiw’s English AP class; who knew they would pay off one day.
Oil Patch focuses on the Edmonton Oilers, the Edmonton Oil Kings, The Oklahoma City Barons and Team Canada Hockey with game coverage, news updates, speculation and interviews.
Although the Oilers have had a difficult past decade… or three, here at Oil Patch, the future looks bright.
