From Dan Friedell at USA Today, a look at Nashville’s rising star on the blue line, Shea Weber:
“He puts a lot of pressure on himself,” [Predators captain Jason] Arnott said. “He’s one of those guys who wants to do well and if he doesn’t he takes it to heart. … But I’d rather have a guy who cares too much about his performance than a guy who’s just like ‘whatever’ and doesn’t care about the team or his play.”
After getting 20 points in 54 games last season, Weber appears on his way to having the breakout analysts predicted might happen last season.
Indeed, the way things are going, it looks like I may have been a bit conservative!
