Toronto Maple Leafs Top 25 Prospects

I recently completed a series of articles analyzing the Maple Leafs organizational depth at each position.  After completing that exercise I thought it would take some time to rank the top 25 prospects in the organization and give some projections.  For each player I give their ceiling, a projection and for the top 15 prospects I also give a comparable player.

where do you get your player projections and ceiling ratings? like do you do them on your own or do you get them off other sites? if so what sites?

For the most part these projections and ceilings are based on my personal opinion, watching and reading about these players.  I also reference sites like http://www.hockeysfuture.com/teams/toronto_maple_leafs/  and http://www.eliteprospects.com/ for information on prospects.

I don’t believe both Sondre Olden and Josh Nicholls are Leaf prospects anymore.  They weren’t recently signed so they are going back to the draft.

Budfan, good catch.  When I did my organization depth charts the deadline hadn’t passed.  I obviously missed that when doing these rankings.

I’ve seen a good number of Marlies games and I saw nothing in Joe Colborne to earn a 5th place ranking.  I see far more potential in Holzer, even D’Amigo as a penalty killer.
