Detroit at St. Louis Nov 15th

Anybody going to the game?  I will be taking the train into STL from my home in KC.  I have done this the last few years and had a great time.  The Blues fans are pretty good.  I always wear my Gordie Howe jersey and when they see it has the number 9 on the back, they always say something nice about him.

I’ve been to ScottTrade and I can tell you the STL fans are obnoxious a**holes.  Most of the ones I’ve sat by don’t know the “game” of hockey and their witty banter conists of the canned insults like, “Detroit sucks, Detroit’s economy sucks, etc.”  I’ve been to 6 games there in the past few years and I think I’ve actually met and talked to ONE STL fan who knoew what the f*ck he was talking about.

I know a guy headed there. He comments under the username ‘Kendal’ at Winging It In Motown.

I’ll point him your way.

I have been to a bunch of games at the Scottrade Center wearing the Wing Wheel.  I have never had an issue.  Maybe it is because I am from Missouri, but wearing my #9 jersey, their is no doubt which team I support.  I also am sitting in the Glass Seats section and the fans around me have been pretty well behaved.  Only good natured banter.  But maybe I have just been lucky.
