Fistric Re-Signs With Stars

FRISCO, Tex. – Dallas Stars General Manager Joe Nieuwendyk announced today that the club has re-signed defenseman Mark Fistric to a three-year, $3 million contract through the 2011-12 NHL season.

“Mark made some great strides with his game last season, both here in Dallas as well as with the Manitoba Moose,” said Nieuwendyk. “He is a big, physical presence with a great deal of potential, and he’ll be counted upon to solidify our blue line for the next three seasons.”
