Among the many news items in the catchy-uppy post, the Left Wing Lock’s Sarah Lindenau posted the schedule for this summer’s Red Wings prospect development camp, which will take place at its usual time, the second week of July, at Centre Ice Arena in Traverse City, MI:
The Detroit Red Wings will host their annual prospects development camp at the Centre I.C.E. Arena in Traverse City, MI again this year. This year’s camp will begin on July 7 and run through the 14th. All practices are open to the public and this camp is the only opportunity to see many of the Red Wings up and coming college and European talent. In addition, the Wings selections from the 2012 NHL entry draft are expected to participate and it will give the organization it’s first look at the new additions.
No roster is currently available for this camp, but the LWL will have it as soon as it is made available.

And while my attendance is at your leisure, Lindeneau is excellent in terms of providing updates regarding both the summer camp, September’s prospect tournament and the main camp at Twitter at @Lindy72, and she suggests that we should follow @RedWingsCamps, the official Twitter account of Centre Ice Arena.
As far as the main camp is concerned, RedWingsFeed offers us the following from ESPN’s Craig Custance regarding what might happen if the next CBA hasn’t been hashed out by September:
Red Wings still planning prospect tourney in TC but it’s slated to start Sept. 14. It can’t be held if CBA expires on 15th with no new deal.
...
Ken Holland, who runs TC tourney, will meet with other 7 teams to pick drop dead date for tourney if new CBA isn’t agreed upon before then.
Update: Here’s why the issue came up. Via Sportsnet:
Meantime, two organizations have confirmed to Sportsnet that the September Young Stars rookie tournament in Penticton has been cancelled by the Calgary Flames, Vancouver Canucks, Edmonton Oilers and Winnipeg Jets due to “logistical” issues.
It is suspected that this is related to the potential lockout, though neither source would confirm that. The fact that the NHL has canceled its European games for that same reason leads one to believe this is the case, however.
Also, confirmed from the Detroit organization that they will make the call by Sept. 1 on whether their annual Traverse City rookie tournament will occur.
