I would bet my foot that Schenn won’t be nominated for the Calder, let alone the favorite to win it.

No name recognition for Connolly, which I expect to change by midseason. Everybody will be too focused on Stamkos, giving Connolly a chance to fly under the radar and produce a lot.

IMO, the Calder’s either going to RNH, Gudbranson or someone who isn’t on this list, like Connolly or Zibenejad (if he makes Ottawa).

Whoever it is, it sure as heck isn’t going to be Schenn, whose not nearly big or strong enough to play his smash and grab junior game against grown men.
