Kukla's Korner Hockey

What Changed?

from Bruce Brothers of the Pioneer Press,

A Wild team with a new coach and new offensive firepower is beginning to look an awful lot like the punchless team that skidded through the past two seasons and failed to make a late-season run at the playoffs.

They were flat at the outset of Tuesday night’s game.

They were flat later.

“I’m not happy with that game,” coach Mike Yeo said after the Pittsburgh Penguins claimed a 4-2 victory over Minnesota at the Xcel Energy Center.

Yeo shuffled his top two lines to find a spark, he said.

It didn’t work.

Not much did.
