Kukla's Korner Hockey

from Sean Fitz-Gerald of the National Post,
One of the most feared fighters in hockey spent the important parts of practice perched on the middle of a bench. He would still share a laugh or a smile with teammates when they passed, and he participated eagerly when invited, but when it was over, Colton Orr left the ice and disappeared into the dressing room, like a ghost in a grey jersey.
He was not made available to reporters, which was fine, because there was not much left for him to say. Forces beyond his control have started a movement that has spread across the National Hockey League, leaving him among the last of a breed.
Orr is a fighter, a genuine heavyweight, and it has been almost a month since he played in a game with the Toronto Maple Leafs. The 29-year-old has appeared in four games so far this season, logging a total of only 18 minutes 39 seconds of ice time.
