Penguins Update Their Injuries

via Sam Kasan of the Penguins website,

Head coach Dan Bylsma just announced that Jordan Staal is out tonight vs. the Islanders. He is day to day with a lower-body injury. Jason Williams will be called up from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

Bylsma also said that Deryk Engelland is back in the lineup tonight after missing the last two games with a lower-body injury. Richard Park is still out. There is nothing new regarding Sidney Crosby.

“Deryk Engelland will be in our lineup tonight. We do not need to recall a defenseman.

“Jordan Staal will not be in the lineup tonight. He recieved a lower-body injury and is day-to-day at this point in time. We will be calling up Jason Williams to play in his stead.

“Richard Park is not playing tonight. He’s day-to-day.”

This sh*t is really getting old.  It’s like a never-ending, vicious circle.  Very frustrating.
