I first saw Gordie Howe play 50 years ago and since that day, he has become my one and only idol in life.
I have followed his career for 50 years but it seems like yesterday when I would meet him after a home game at the Olympia and he would poke me with his elbow and take my pen.
I only wish somehow I could provide him the joy and memories he gave me.
Enjoy the day Mr. Howe, I am sure you don’t realize how many lives you have touched in such a positive way.
It’s All About Respect.

Happy Birthday Gordie! I remember him leaving the Olympia at the Hooker Street door most every game I attended there. He was always signing something and taking lots of time for us fans.
It is all about respect. He showed it and received it every shift.
Lets Go Red Wings!!!!!
