Kukla's Korner Hockey

Early Morning Line

The Bruins have won a Stanley Cup, and they’ve come back the following season as the team to beat in an NHL. There’s no reason to speak about a Detroit or Pittsburgh with hallowed reverence anymore. The current winning streak is no mirage.

The Bruins are better than they were last season when they captured the Cup, and they’re not going anywhere.

There is the annoying little detail about part of that “winning streak” being a loss to DET I guess…

Two best teams in the NHL met last night, and the Bruins certainly looked better.

Thomas is a stud.  Boston looked very good, but it does seem that if you don’t engage in after whistle non-sense you can get on the Powerplay.  The Pens couldn’t take advantage though.

hard to argue here… the bruins are skilled, play well as a team, have a super goalie, and above all are extremely tough.  There team is full of guys who can run through you.  The trade deadline will be interesting this year.

only thing the bruins have against them is they may be peaking wayyyy to early.  time will tell.

Pens wonderful PP killed them yet again & Considering they were without 2 of their top 4 D Men & 3 of their top 6 D Men. I wasn’t expecting a win, BUT the young D Men were not what killed them it was Jack Adam’s PP atrocity ! But don’t hire a PP coach Jack

I won’t tolerate name calling here.

It does no good and I don’t appreciate it.

Yep, the B’s are good.  And you could say, well, the Pens weren’t healthy, but the way things are going with them, I’m not sure they ever will be.  Think they’re just gonna have to learn to live with it . . .

How you can expect anything but name-calling from Evilpens is beyond me.

Lex it would help if they had a decent PP & Coach but the Ego Maniac Jack Adam’s won’t allow it

He can run it…............................ into the ground WTF were Sid & Geno at the Point on the 5-3 PP for?? Sullivan is Toast & Kunitz is in front of the net & is Matt Cooke 2.0
