Kukla's Korner Hockey

from Scott Cruickshank of the Calgary Herald,
The post-game meeting was long. Very long.
Matching the list of troubles burdening this team.
Not matching Brent Sutter’s patience, which is growing ever thin. Or his fuse, which is growing ever short.
After roasting his players following another dismal effort, he declined to provide closed-door details. But there was no mistaking his disgust.
“Whatever words you want to use out there, it’s something we obviously have to work at,” said the Calgary Flames coach after watching his emotionless minions get spanked 4-1 by the woeful Columbus Blue Jackets in National Hockey League action Monday at Nationwide Arena.
He allowed himself a small chuckle.
“You know what, guys, it’s so noticeable, it’s scary,” said Sutter. “It’s like a bad disease that you have to try to fight off and get through and get a cure and get going. The individual has to take responsibility and say, ‘This isn’t good enough. It’s not acceptable.’ Yet, the only measure you have is through play.”
