I talked to a Russian reporter who would know about this. He said details about the incident are sketchy, but he’s pretty confident that it did happen. He also said it was a “damaged” jaw, not a broken one.
[OVECHKIN] BROKE JAW TO AGENT [MALKINA]
On one of the matches of pre-seasonal tournament in [Mytishchakh] well-known in the past goalkeeper, and now agent gennadi Ushakov appeared with the injury of face. As it became known “FOR [SE]”, several days ago after party in one of the night clubs in Ushakov occurred conflict with that attacking of club [NKHL] “Washington [Kepitalz]” by Aleksandr [Ovechkin]. After [Ovechkin] heard insult in its address, between it and Ushakov occurred the brawl, as a result which in the latter proved to be damaged jaw. Suffered is the agent of another Russian star [NKHL] and friend Of [ovechkina] - [forvarda] “of Pittsburgh” of Yevgeny [Malkina].
