Sarah McNeil with Chicks Who Give A Puck spoke recently with the co-author of “Tough Guy”, Bob Probert’s autobiography.
There’s so much more to him than what people know, and that’s what I’m thrilled about with Tough Guy,” Kirstie said, “that people will get to know him. [Bob] was unapologetic. He goes into his life. Some things he took a little too far, and he talks about that, and I found it just fascinating.” And, a true hockey fan, Kirstie admits that Bob’s on-ice life was equally fascinating. “He was an enforcer, and he takes us inside the head of an enforcer on the ice, something that most of us have no idea about. And for me, fights were very important to hockey, and I really miss how hockey used to be.”

About Abel to Yzerman
Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977. No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y. Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation. There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature. Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that. Your suggestions and critiques are welcome: email@example.com
