The Canucks have signed goaltender Curtis Sanford to a one-year deal worth $600,000. Sanford spent the last two seasons with the St. Louis Blues and appeared in 31 games in 2006-07, posting a 8-12-5 record with a 3.18 goals against average.Sanford:"Who knows how many games I'm going to get in, I know Roberto is a workhorse. He's obviously one of the best, if not the best, in the game right now. Whether it's five or ten games, you know that's 20 points for the Vancouver Canucks. I'm just going to do my part and make sure that when I'm in the net I'm giving the team a chance to win." Welcome to Vancouver, Curtis.
